Needless to say, there are plenty of hotels in Montreal—and plenty of web sites about them. There are the usual Best-Western-type chains here, (although they tend to disguise them with French names) and really there's little to differentiate Montreal hotels from others in North America except the language, and possibly the prices, which are remarkably competitive.
