L’Harmonie d’Asie
65 Duluth E. Mont-Royal or Sherbrooke métro.

RESERVATIONS: 289-9972. HOURS: 5 p.m.—I I P.M. NO-SMOKING SECTION: Yes. WHEELCHAIR ACCESS: No. PRICES—TABLE D’HÔTE: $8.95—$11.95. CREDIT CARDS: Visa, Mastercard.
Eleven months a year (they do take a short holiday these days), L’Harmonie d'Asie is still serving up their passably authentic, healthy Vietnamese cuisine to their Saint-Laurent-area habitué clientele.

While there are at least forty-two dishes on the menu, some of the combinations unfortunately seem to have little difference between them. The most original dish? They offer fondue, as well as several "hot-pot" and vegetarian dishes. Try the chop suey and okra soup with vermicelli, the crispy grilled duck, the crab sautéed with shallots and rice, or the beef with plantain salad.

Depending on where you’re coming from, you'll likely find L'Harmonie d’Asie rather intimate or incredibly tightly packed. Claustrophobics should not consider this restaurant on a weekend night!
