This comfortable "tuxedo" Chinese restaurant offers a "tasting menu"—halfway between a buffet and a regular carte—in the evening. You order as many dishes as you like from a menu of about 60 items. Portions are modest, hut you keep ordering until you're sated. There's a fixed price of $22.95 per person (Fri.-Sat.) or $20.95 (Sun.-Thur ). Children under 12 pay half price.

The Hunan dumplings were tangy, but the fried dumplings were bland. Cantonese noodles were impressive. Beef dishes, not always a strong point in Chinese kitchens, were noteworthy. Make a reservation.
