"One good memory deserves another," could well be the motto of this restaurant. Ha and Su, the Vietnamese owners, adapt a large number of old country recipes to our frozen climes, without too much generation loss. This resto overlooks Outremont, the Plateau Mont Royal, and the Mekong with equanimous good will. Catering and delivery service. Beats bad Chinese food. If you're eating there, try the jasmine or the chrysanthemum tea—unless, that is, you find Ginseng relaxing. Mr. Ha welcomes his customers with genuine warmth, and knows how to make you feel comfortable. Souvenirs d'Indochine ls ideal for that crucial business lunch or relaxing famlly dinner.

Sample menu: Saigon shrimp soup, pork with grilled liver, tamarind and seafood soup, Indochine duck salad, grilled squid and grapefruit suprême salad, Indochine crêpes, imperial jelly, sautéed chicken with lemongrass and chili peppers, satay chicken brochettes, sliced beef cutlet grilled in sesame seeds, sweet rice with coconut milk, vegetable étuve in ginger sauce, banana ice cream, coconut sherbet, banana tapioca.
