Senzala is a charming Brazillan restaurant, overflowing with ambience and sun-soaked smells. The tango orange walls and the samba music will get your feet to tapping, your heart to laughing and your stomach crying out for food. If Senzala's version of Brazil's national dishfeijoada (pork, black beans, cabbage and oranges) doesn't satisfy you then you'd better see the Obeah man. There's an exotic brunch served on weekends. Homey, welcoming atmosphere. Strip your stomach with cachaça (Brazilian brandy) or, in the right season, down a batida (ice and your choice of fruits). Coffee (Brazilian, of course). Warm, attentive service.
Sample menu: Ceviche, guacamole, sun-dried tomato spread, squid marinated in garlic feijoada,f ish stew with coconut milk and coriander, shrimp salad with grilled vegetables, mariscada (seafood) plate, clams and pork pieces in white wine sauce.
