A gigantic portion of veal stew is served on a 1-2-inch platter at Trois Marie. It's homey cooking, a style that has endeared itself to regulars for more than 30 years. The veal stew was loaded with chunks of tender veal, thick carrots and large halves of potatoes in a burnished red sauce.
On this visit, a serving of rapini cooked in olive oil accompanied the stew as did fresh, crusty bread. Reservations recommended.
